After some long days and nights mixing, powered by plenty of strong coffee, the album is mixed and mastered. We’re both really happy with how it’s sounding. Now, the artwork is having the final touches added before it’s send off to be pressed!
Lee has also been spending hours sifting through the video footage during the recording of this album in preparation for a ‘making of’ documentary, can’t wait to see how it turns out.

We’ve spent today adding the last few guitars and overdubs to the album. I think all the music is now complete and we have just vocals and mixing to go.

This weekend we are locked away recording some guitars to finish the album. Today we got a massive chunk of them nailed and tomorrow we’re working on some additional songs.. Looking forward to more guitar layers!

Good morning all. We hope that you’re all well.
We just wanted to drop you all a little message to explain that even though we’ve seemed quiet, we have been really busy. We had to return to the studio and re-do all the drums to the album with Steve behind the kit. So things got pushed back a little bit. But we are on full booster mode now. So, don’t panic.
We also ended up recording 5 extra songs while we was there.
We will let you know all the info on release dates, art work, etc as soon as we can.
Be patient, It’s sounding HUGE!

It’s getting close to the end of the Kickstarter campaign and the start of the recording. Thanks to everyone who’s backed us, it’s going to be a massive help!
Tonight I started work on artwork ideas and begun sketching and researching things. I’m really excited about getting some nice CD packaging made!

We’ve been busy this week planning the recording and talking about drums sounds. It’s going to be really cool to have Neil involved in the recording and writing of the album
This weekend we will be in the studio practicing the new album, as well as making last minute tweaks to song arrangements and vocals. Really pumped about this project!
Hopefully we’ll make it past the £500 target so we can film a documentary as we record the album!

Tonight was a quick session but we worked on a few new riffs. We have a lot of songs and ideas building up for the album and now we can pick the best of the bunch to record.
Its getting close, I can smell the bacon cooking!!!

Yesterday (7th August) we met up nice and early. After a trip to greggs to pick up some essentials (a sweet chilli sandwich and some cheese and onion crisps).
We headed into a loft to get down some vocal ideas for the album. This is the same loft where we recorded the vocals for the ‘Raygun’ EP. We really like it in there. It’s nice and cosy and out of the way.
The first song we worked on is really fresh, Steve has really been knuckling down an writing a lot, and it’s really paying off.
We worked on 4 songs, an after a bit of backing vocals, we decided to head back for some coffee and some mixing.
The songs are sounding really really good.

Since the start of 2013 we’ve been gigging a lot as well as demoing and writing a lot of new tracks for the album. Some songs are complete, some have been scrapped and some of the best riffs have come together in the past couple of weeks.
Tomorrow we have a day booked recording and working on vocals for another bunch of tracks, this is when the song really takes it’s character and sometimes where it gets put in the ‘to keep’ or b-side pile.
I’ve just found out we made out target on kickstarter! Massive thanks if you contributed. Hopefully we can make this album bigger than we thought?
